When you become a customer of Coastal Motorhomes you have available to you a tremendous amount of information to help you make the best use of your Motorhome. Mike suggested to me that it would be in my best interest to join the New Zealand Motorhome and Caravan Association. He was correct. Of the myriad of information available is the members handbook which, among other things, gives you local council by-laws to keep you out of trouble during your travels. It also gives you a list of park over properties where you can stay for free.
On a trip to Raglan we decided to try a POP and called at the Raglan Club. We received a great welcome, a spot in the car park, access to the bar and all the Club's facilities and later in the evening a fantastic meal in the restaurant. We drove away from the Raglan Club thinking we'll be back one day. It is good for us as travellers and good business for the Club.
If you would like to check out the NZMCA ask the friendly team at Coastal. They helped me to join and I'm sure they will do the same for you. You will find that membership has many advantages while you are on the road.
