"Amazing Craftsmanship and Finish"
At the 2014 Camper Care Motorhome & Caravan Leisure Show one of the things on our bucket list was to buy a brand new motorhome as motor homing was a way of life we have enjoyed for many years.
At this show we came upon the Coastal Display where Mike and Gayle Farrell were exhibiting their then latest completed motorhome, it had amazing craftsmanship and finish to the vehicle yet a very practical and functional layout, this appealed to us. The Mercedes benz rear wheel drive chassis was what they used to build the motorhome on was an added bonus.
It was great to be able to design a motorhome that suited both our needs from the chassis up and to see the innovative added extras their team have included into their designs. When the build started, we sometimes found it necessary to speak to Mike, Paul, or Toni several times in a day. Nothing was a bother or a problem for them.
Once we collected our motorhome like all new vehicles there were a few minor problems which were addressed immediately by Mike or the Mercedes team. Mike, Gayle, Paul and Toni ( The Farrell Clan) and Brent the Builder and his Team helped make it a less stressful exercise. And we have a motor home we are very proud of.

Derek and Kristine's Grandelier
This was modelled of the unit we showed at the Christchurch show - where Derek and Christinbe liked what they saw so much they basically said "we want one exactly the same". We always involve our clients during the build process, so they did actually end up with yet another unique build designed as they wanted. Derek needed more ground clearance so we made the necessary changes to suit. We raised the side skirts by 50mm which meant moving the gas storage locker to the rear and above the floor.
We also fitted our new look kitchen overhead cupboards in this van moving us forward in design.
With this layout they have a lovely large rear boot for storage as well as other lockers on both sides. They chose a fabulous red colour for the base colour over the Mercedes silver and we fitted our new 2015 Coastal graphics making this unit a real stunner.
